No. The platform is designed for all skill levels. The Academy explains every technique before the associated challenge. The starting rank (Zero Chrome / Wirehead) is built for complete beginners.

Each box is an isolated virtual machine with real vulnerabilities to exploit. Start it with one click, attack the machine using the techniques from the courses, find the secret flag hidden in the system, submit it and earn bounty.

The Wanted List is the live operator leaderboard. Two boards coexist: the Darknet board (ranked by bounty from hacking boxes) and the Academy board (ranked by XP from completing courses). All profiles are public.
